Collaborative Learning, Classroom Administration and Assessing Student Mastery Made Easier Across Global School System

NEW YORK — April 10, 2014 — The Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) recently awarded a contract to Schoology as a result of a competitive RFQ seeking a learning management system. Schoology Enterprise will deliver instructional content to DoDEA K-12 students and allow collaboration inside and outside of the traditional K-12 classroom.

"We are very pleased that the DoDEA chose Schoology as their learning management system," said Jeremy Friedman, CEO of Schoology. "With such a vast global school network, DoDEA students and educators will be able to easily collaborate and accelerate student achievement with digital learning in Schoology."

Schoology manages curriculum, assessments, grading and other classroom management tasks and is also a communication platform for teachers and students. In traditional, online or blended classrooms, Schoology improves learning outcomes with its ability to manage and integrate resources as well as helping teachers evaluate student mastery on educational standards.
