See the Top Five Tech Tools Used by Carole Morbitzer, Ohio's 2013 Teacher of the Year

Posted in Community | October 09, 2013

Carole Morbitzer, a math teacher at the Hamilton Township High School of Columbus, Ohio, was interviewed by the Wall Street Journal recently to share the top five technologies she uses in the classroom.

If her name rings a bell, that's probably because Carole is Ohio's 2013 Teacher of the Year and has been honored with the Presidential Award for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching, not to mention a number of other achievements in education and community service.

A member of the Schoology Community since 2011, Carol has implemented a number of different technologies in her classroom, some of which she mentions in the video below. But just to give you a quick breakdown, Carole (quickly) explains how and why she uses:

  1. Discourse
  2. Interactive Whiteboard
  3. Schoology
  4. Remind 101
  5. Airliner Wireless Slate
