Schoology News: Resource Center Redesign and Improved School Analytics

Posted in Schoology | March 22, 2013

It’s Friday, and in celebration of the week’s end, we thought we’d show you what we’ve been working on to make your Schoology experience better than ever. Today we are excited to announce two awesome updates:

The Resource Center Redesign and Improved School Analytics!

Resource Center Redesign

That’s right. The Resource Center has been under renovation and is now bright, shiny, and available to the whole community! Now you can access all of your resources—Personal, Public, and Group—from a single place.

Just like before, you can create, manage, and share content easily and efficiently. The huge difference is the ability to create and share group resources without having to actually visit the group profile!

In fact, you can even create groups from within your Group Resources! All you have to do is click that little group icon at the top, and whala! You'll be sharing resources in no time.

The only thing left to do is to get collaborating. And don’t hesitate to let us know what you think about it.

Improved School Analytics (Enterprise Feature)

Because analytics are such an important part of designing a strong and relevant curriculum, we’ve been hard at work improving our School Analytics to provide a deeper understanding of Schoology data. Now school and district administrators can more easily compare and digest the incredible amount of data collected from their students and faculty.

A simple click can switch the colorful presentation between different kinds of data. You can also switch buildings, user roles, and dates for more specific analyses.

If you have any questions about these features, please direct them to our community forum. Otherwise, I'd love to hear what you think right below in the comments section.

Happy Friday!
