The Schoology Champions Program… What’s That?

You may have heard of our Schoology Champions Program. Or maybe not! Either way, we wanted to give you some more insight into this highly active community program, and why you may want to consider joining.

The Purpose of the Schoology Champions Program 

The purpose of the Champions program is simple: to help you grow in your educational career. This involves a variety of things, including networking and growing your PLN, having the opportunity to share your expertise and give product feedback, and earning prizes to keep you motivated and make the experience fun!

How is the Schoology Champions Program Different From the Schoology Ambassador Program?​

Schoology has two community programs, The Schoology Champions program (what this post is about!) and the Schoology Ambassador Program. 

Ambassador Program

The Schoology Ambassador Program is a smaller, application-only program. We describe Schoology Ambassadors as passionate, engaged, and knowledgeable leaders who are the voice of our community. This group requires a larger amount of commitment, but for this commitment they receive exclusive access to the Schoology Team during monthly calls, special Ambassador-only swag, the chance to elevate themselves as thought leaders in the industry, and exclusive speaking opportunities.

Champions Program

So, maybe the level of commitment required to be an Ambassador isn’t for you at this point in your career. That’s not a problem at all because that’s why we have our Champions Program. 

The Champions Program is an open program (no application required, just sign up here). It is up to you how little or how much you participate. You may be the first person to complete every challenge and climb to the top of the leaderboard, or maybe you participate here and there when you have the time in your busy schedule. Either way is great! This program is about you and helping grow your professional network.

Thought Leadership Opportunities

As mentioned, the Champions program gives you the opportunity to share your expertise and grow as an educator. While this includes speaking at events, another great example of this is all of the amazing eBooks, articles, and blog posts that the Champions have helped us create. This helps us at Schoology have relevant content from real educators, and helps our community share their thoughts, writing skills, and be creative.
