Important News: We're Expanding the Help Center by Adding Community Support

Hi Schoology Community,

We love hearing your feedback, we value your ideas, and we appreciate your sharing of questions and answers with other Schoology users. Most importantly, we want to make sure you have a great place to foster this kind of community.

This fall, on Monday, September 9, we’re opening a dedicated area for the community in our Help Center, support.schoology.com. By October 15, 2013, our current Community Support Forum (community.schoology.com) will be closed. The reason we’re moving the community support to support.schoology.com is to create centralized experience for you, where you can learn about Schoology, share your ideas, and ask questions from a single place.

In addition, please know that we’ve strived to record and track every request we’ve heard from you on the Community Support Forum, so none of your great suggestions will be lost.

Below are the two main additions to the Help Center that will go live on Monday:

Feature Requests

If you have a great idea you’d like to share with us or with other Schoology users, we welcome you to create a topic in the Feature Requests forum detailing your vision and goal. Other members of Schoology will be able to search for and comment on your idea, as well as vote for and subscribe to the topic!

Also, to keep you better informed, Schoology will mark some of your ideas as Planned, Done, or Not Planned.

Community Q & A

If you don’t find an answer to your question from the Help Center articles on support.schoology.com, you will also be able to create a topic in the new Community Q & A forum without navigating to another site.

This area will be a great way for you to get responses from your peers and fellow educators. It will also allow you to share knowledge with other members of the community who will be able to search for your topic and learn from it as well.

And to help get the Feature Requests area started, the top 100 ideas from the Community Support Forum will be available on the new Community Q&A forum on Monday, so please check them out!
